2013-10-01 14.11.43Do you often crave something creamy, tasty and sweet but you want to stay on the healthy side and get something nutritious and easy? I think I have something for you then… :) I am not a fan of exact recipes, but here you are and idea of how to prepare such a dessert!

What do you need?

1/4 cup Chía seeds*

1 cup Veggie milk (I used home-made almond milk, but you can also buy it)

1 ts Maple syrup (or any other healthy alternative)

Cinnamon

A little bit of lemon juice

What to do?

Mix al the ingredients together and leave for 10-15 min in the fridge.

Stir again and check the taste and consistency. Bear in mind that the chia seeds will grow and get slimy…

You can eat it now or leave it a bit longer in the fridge for more consistency and flavour! :)

Just enjoy it!

Other suggestions:

You can try your own version adding cacao nibs or chocolate powder, carob, coco, grated zest, raisins… Be creative, the sky is the limit!

I did also with fruit juice, crazy… hahaha I love it too! :)

Did you like it? I like so much tha tI normally have a big bowl at home and I have a portion everyday… :) If you try it let me know how it goes, please! I want to hear from you!

Big hug and much love,

Sara

*Chia seeds are a great source of omega 3 among other things. They will make you feel full without feeling guilty ;-) I use them a lot to replace eggs and in deserts. You can buy them on healthy stores

  2. Hi Sara,

I have used rice milk instead of almond milk, and it is really a very
tasty dessert. Easy to make, delicious and last but not least very healthy.
Thanks for sharing the receipt! :-)
