Tired of cooking? Does it take too much of your energy coming back home every day thinking what to eat? Do you think you have better things to do rather than cooking but you still want to eat well? Well, I have a solution for you (at least for half of your days): “cook once, eat twice, three times…” How does it sound?
Since I started living by myself I did not really miss my mum or her food, what I missed the most the fact that there was always great food on the table for me! Just like that! -Don’t take me wrong though, I also missed my mum, but… you know what I mean… hihi-
I wonder how she did it, cooking for three & working full time! Crazy huh! Well, I now know her trick… Recycling food! (But this is going to be for another post). What I want to explain today is as simple as cooking double (or triple, or…) you might just spend a couple more minutes in the kitchen and you can save up to one hour! Isn’t it fantastic? I think so… :)
The best is when you don’t even have to warm up you food the day after, therefore salads are perfect! (Don’t put any seasoning though if you want it to live longer, hihi). During winter time, I’d recommend all kind of soups. I normally prepare a large pot and freeze the soup in individual portions I can consume during the whole winter! -That really saves me a lot of time-
